AL MANHAL PALACE

The proposed design is defined by urban planning principles which are extracted from the context and revolve around the preservation of heritage, the conservation of the environment and a pedestrian oriented approach with a strong public realm component.
Each proposal attempts to conserve the existing green cover to some extent, and to create masses which sensitively respond to both the internal forces of the site (the palace, existing darb/pathway and existing greenery) as well as the external forces (the surrounding context, ranging from residential villas to offices, hotels and mixed use developments).
